Mark and Zachary Jaindl, founders of Jaindl Enterprises and the lead developers behind The Waterfront project, presented their portfolio of projects at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual Economic Outlook. At our core we are preservationists. We understand the importance of promoting smart urban growth and look to bring new opportunities to Allentown through unique opportunities designed to drive social and economic growth in the city we call home.

Jaindl updated the audience on the status of Vault 634, the adaptive reuse of a historic Allentown landmark. The wedding and event center will open its doors on May 1st, 2018. The boutique venue can accommodate 215 individuals at a seated dinner and 430 individuals at a cocktail reception.

Jaindl also walked the audience through the though thought process behind The Waterfront’s design. Audience members were given a first-look at 560 Waterfront Drive, a 206-unit apartment complex designed with aesthetic features to call back to the site’s industrial heritage.

The building will be comprised of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units ranging from 600 square feet to 1,600 square feet. 560 Waterfront will be offering a central courtyard complete with a pool, outdoor grills, fireplaces and a yoga lawn. The complex will boast a center media room, private work offices, a group kitchen and a fitness center among other amenities. 560 Waterfront’s Rooftop will harness a variety of amenities to create a social environment with sweeping vistas of the Lehigh River. Construction will begin in Summer 2018.

Jaindl Enterprises was founded by Mark and Zachary Jaindl in 2011. The father-son team built a strategic blueprint designed to harness the potential of the region’s historic buildings and sites while creating new and unique opportunities for Lehigh Valley residents and visitors.
